Microphone audio stays on your device
Microphone access is optional and is used only when you activate microphone tuning. Audio is analyzed in real time inside your browser to estimate pitch and help you tune your instrument.
- Microphone audio is not recorded.
- Microphone audio is not stored.
- Microphone audio is not uploaded or transmitted to our servers or to third parties.
- Microphone access stops when the tuning session is stopped or the extension popup is closed.
03 — Local storage
Only your preferences are saved
The extension uses Chrome local extension storage to remember basic preferences such as your selected language, last selected instrument and tuning. This information stays in your browser and is used only to make the extension more convenient to use.
04 — Remote code & third parties
No remote code or advertising trackers
All JavaScript and application logic required by the extension are included in the extension package. The extension does not execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly and does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
